Alex Vance

Special Agent Alex Vance entered Federal government service in 2014 as a police officer with the United States Capitol Police. During his tenure with the U.S. Capitol Police, Agent Vance participated in securing major events to include multiple Presidential State of the Union Addresses and the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Agent Vance was also a member of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Maritime Security Detachment while on deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 2017. Agent Vance joined the FBI in 2020 working violent crime and Internet crimes against children investigations. Agent Vance has been a member of the Kansas City Cyber Crime Task Force since 2024 investigating computer intrusions, data breaches, and malicious AdTech.
