George Schultzel

Mr. Schultzel entered on duty as a Special Agent of the FBI on July 5, 2010. He was assigned to the Criminal Cyber squad in the  New York Field Office. He transferred to the National Security Cyber squad in 2013, focusing on Russian cyber counterintelligence operations. In 2015, he became a founding member of the Financial Cyber Crime Task Force. In 2019, Mr. Schultzel was promoted to the field desk of the Kansas City Cyber Crime Task Force, leading FBI and local agencies in sophisticated criminal and nation state investigations.  Mr. Schultzel currently serves as the Law Enforcement Attaché in the US Embassy in Bucharest, Romania, where he leads the FBI mission to combat threats to the United States of America and facilitate U.S. based investigations in country, specifically international terrorism, organized crime, cybercrime, and national security matters.
