Biography

Mr. Postell began his career in security as a Uniformed Division Officer with the U.S. Secret Service, where he was assigned to the Explosive Detection Team. In this role, he provided leadership in access control, crowd management, explosive detection, and emergency response operations for over 100 high-profile events. During his tenure with the Secret Service, Mr. Postell held multiple key assignments in security operations and critical infrastructure protection. He served as the Critical Infrastructure Protection Chairman for the United Nations General Assembly 78-79, where he coordinated multi-agency efforts to safeguard vital assets and mitigate complex security threats. He also led the implementation of advanced surveillance systems and security protocols supporting large-scale protective operations. Mr. Postell brings over 15 years of experience in security operations, cybersecurity, and risk management, with extensive expertise in protecting critical infrastructure and managing large security teams during major national and international events. Mr. Postell currently serves as the Director of Safety and Security for KC2026, where he is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive safety and security strategies to support a safe and resilient environment for all event participants.
